You took sleeping pills with alcohol?

Kathy, that is BAD.

but... it's... just a little bit of alcohol!

I never said it was a smart choice but I've barely slept in days and my sleeping pills haven't been working on their own. I'm going to go kookoo bananas if I don't get some sleep soon.

...So why not just get raging drunk? You'll pass out soon enough!

I tried that on the weekend. I slept, but felt like crap because I don't sleep deeply when drunk. So I felt worse in the end.

Nyquil and codeine don't make me sleepy enough. I had to go with the prescription sleeping pills. Of course I'm not supposed to drink with it but I can't imagine one glass of wine doing much harm.

alcohol interferes with your sleeping. maybe you should stop drinking, and then you won't need to poison yourself with chemicals as well. doing both at the same time is a conflict of interest, not to mention rather reckless.
