That Website wrote:Foo Fighters Scrap Big Me From Live Shows
Dave Grohl's sick of being pelted with Mentos.
Wednesday, November 23, 2005
Foo Fighters have stopped playing their 1995 hit Big Me at concerts because frontman Dave Grohl is sick of being hit by packets of mints.
In the video accompanying the single, Mentos rain down on the singer and fans try to recreate the scene whenever the group plays the tune live.
Grohl explains, "Every time we played it, it would just start raining Mentos, and them motherf**kers hurt.
"We did a show in Canada and, in the middle of the song, someone threw a pack, and it hit me right in the face. I was so p**sed, I picked it up and said, 'It's been 10 f**king years since that video.'"
They lied
They played it last night.
I only saw one object being thrown but I can't be sure whether it was Mentos - if it was they were still in a box.

Scott Stapp actually released an album!
Seeing as all the publicity surrounding him lately has been centered on him being drunk and hitting on teenage girls, I figured this album was just talk.

The ads for it on TV flash "THE VOICE OF CREED!!!" real big on the screen a LOT. It makes me laugh. Then I realize I'm listening to Scott Stapp. And I cry.

We should do them all. It'd be like Rocky Horror Picture Show.

I didn't see this part of the thread before just now, and I cracked up laughing... but you are all responsible for the fact that my boss is going to kill me!! I have the day off from work today so I'm sitting at home on my couch with my work laptop... and you just made me spray coffee all over it!! HELP - how do you clean coffee out of a laptop keyboard?!?!

this isn't really that new (posted on dec 15th) but i read bout it earlier today and thought it was sad
Snapdragon Records has confirmed that All-American Rejects touring keyboardist Tim Jordan has passed away. The 24-year-old Camden, Arkansas native reportedly committed suicide in his hometown yesterday.
Jordan's musical origins trace back to Snapdragon Records band Welton, for whom he played guitar. Welton broke up earlier this year, and Jordan consequently went on to join Number One Fan as that band's touring keyboardist before ending up in the Rejects camp this past Summer.
Snapdragon's site made a post about the tragedy, mentioning in part:
Tim was loved by all and was amazing with his fans... He was well known for his great live performance and interaction and his ability to communicate and seem to care about all! He lived breathed and ate music.
Our deepest condolences go out to Jordan's family and friends.
