"He smiled very pleasantly, and indeed had a sort of appealing and affectionate look in his eyes. My sizing up of the man as I sat and talked with him was that he is really one who truly loves his fellow man and his country ... his eyes impressed me most of all. There was a liquid quality about them which indicated keen perception and profound sympathy (calm, composed) - and one could see how particularly humble folk would come to have a profound love for the man."

Once again, I am not the person who ripped this....just the person who downloaded this torrent elsewhere and shared it here. I am not in charge of the numbering, but this is the latest episode...also known as episode 4. Please do not ask "What's this?" or assume that this is a fake purely because you don't agree with the ripper's numbering system.

13 million... seems about right. Our store is supposed to usually get like 15 or something credits a day. Insane, I tell ya.
I am not one of those accounts on file... for I was denied.

All of the 101 people aboard were rescued and accounted for, B.C. Ferries said in a statement released several hours after the incident.

The Junior Ring Ceremony at Norwich University is one of the finest traditions out military academy has. Every year, these Juniors recieve their rings, signifying their rising into senior ranks and preparing to enter the world as citizen soldiers and officers in the United States Armed Forces.
I think it's sad that this band is the best Norwich could get. You guys suck. You are not worthy of playing in front of these noble individuals who will one day defend our great nation. I hope they're not wasting too much money on your lame act.

CHASE BUYS KOHL'S CARDS JPMorganChase will grow the proprietary store credit card portfolio it owns by 47% when it buys the department store card business of Kohl’s. The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter. Kohl’s has about 13 million private label credit card accounts on file.
Worldwide, Chase owns proprietary card outstandings totaling $3.20 billion (without the Kohl’s acquisition) from private label programs it purchased from Circuit City and Sears Canada. In the U.S., the acquisition of the Kohl’s store card business will give
Chase $2.60 billion in outstandings and move it to fifth place among owners of store card outstandings in the U.S. behind GE Consumer Finance, Citi Commerce Solutions, HSBC Retail Services, and Alliance Data.
*wonders if I'm the only one that read all of that*
I can't think what the publication is - but we used to get the news articles sent round every month, but they haven't been doing that recently

I'm missing out on what's going on in the world.
*wonders what UK acquirers are doing to try to get better interchange fees*
i have nothing to control-v.

rest of the UK interchange blurb:
"In the U.K., pressure is coming in the form of pending governmental action. The Office of Fair Trading began investigating MasterCard in 2001 and Visa in 2004.
Both complaints were about how the associations calculate interchange rates. The OFT issued a decision against MasterCard in October of 2005, ruling its interchange practice to be anticompetitive. MasterCard appealed to the U.K.’s Competition Appeal Tribunal. Visa asked for and has received approval to intervene in the appeals process from that same body (as did the British Retail Consortium). Over the next months, it is likely that documents will be gathered, expert testimony taken, and a hearing held. It could take up to a year before a formal decision is reached."
