Alright. I got this neighbor who has this issue with driving down the street "too fast". The speed limit is 30mph. He'll yell at anyone who goes more than 17mph.

I've gotten in a verbal confrontation with him twice because I'm the only who has the nerve to talk back with this fuck.

His arguement is that we live on a half street and there are little kids, his kids and the other douchebag neighbor's, playing and running into the street and I could hit them.

It's true. I could hit them. Anythings possible. But he thinks that since he lets his kids go in the road that he has to bitch at everyone who drives over his personal speed limit.

First confrontation with him was bad. He was drunk and I was in a bad mood. Mainly consisted of swearing. I regret how this one played out. Today's was more calm on my part. He got in my face and told me he was gonna pummel my ass in my driveway because I told him he was irresponsible for letting his kids play in the road. This guy is so hard headed that nothing could ever get through to him. It's almost pointless to argue with him. Almost.

Now it's war.

Call the police. Simple.

Technically you could bring it to cops since he threatened to "pummel yo ass".

I got into a verbal confrontation with my mailman yesterday actually. Interesting topic, there.

Two years ago, I was living in the upstairs apartment of an old house, and my downstairs neighbors were assholes. The guy (who suffered from small man's syndrome) had a pimped out shit-car, and used to play the music so loud in it that it literally shook my apartment. I was apparently too loud for them because I had to pee in the middle of the night and walked down the stairs to go out at 9pm and work on my conference papers elsewhere because I couldn't get any peace and quiet in my apartment. So the guy came out and told me to be quieter on the stairs. I said sure, if he would turn the music down on his car, because I was tired of having to explain to my boss while I was on conference calls what that noise was, since I worked from home. He got all pissy and said he has a right to make noise during the day, and I said no you don't, because I have a right to a peaceful work environment in my own home, and I said that I would be quieter on the stairs if he shut his music up and that was the deal, and he threatened to get his girlfriend to beat my ass, and I said what, you can't do it yourself?

And my dad said that I should have called the cops but I didn't, but the guy never laid a hand on me. He did get his girlfriend to threaten me too though, when I rolled over too much on my squeaky bed that was 20 years old and they had a sick baby and had to get up at 2am to go to work and blah blah blah.

Moral of the story: Tell your neighbor to shut the fuck up, and zoom past his house as fast as you want.

I'd probably stop to rev my engine loudly in front o his house. Or take breaks from the actually driving the speed limit, to driving obnoxiously slow when he's outside.

Or, how about you continue to drive at a safe speed in areas where you know that kids might be at play? As long as you take caution and observe the laws, you'll be in the right. If he gets into a verbal confrontation with you and makes threats, don't say anything, and simply walk away, and involve the police. If you observe the law, be safe, and keep your mouth shut when you get mad, and let the police handle the situation, you will be in the right, and he will have nothing to defend himself with.

In other news, I'm picking up Josh in about 30 minutes for the start of his big day. It's a beautiful day in SoCal. Should be a great wedding.

So far I have been and will continue to be legal. Next time with him it will involve the police.

Awesome! I have never been to an unsuccessful wedding, that would be interesting. So happy to hear that it went well.

We're practicing for that!

We had the best time with Melissa, Nikki, Ryan, Heather, and Matt. Nikki and Matt gave some awesome speeches. Thanks all of you!!

Superman's Dead and Hello Oskar were on the reception playlist that we gave to the DJ, but he didn't get to either. We all rocked out to some Lady Gaga though (at the reception, and during CM Rock Band).

But now, Kym is asleep and we leave for Cancun in 7 hours. We really need to start packing!

See you all in a couple weeks. 8-)

Kym and Josh's wedding was, frankly put, fricking awesome. They put a lot of hard work into it and it really showed, I don't think I've ever had so much fun at a wedding/reception. Hayull, I don't know if I'd ever had fun at a wedding/reception before, period.
