combine the two

during the mornings design and build sweet ass guitars.. by night beat up criminals with said sweet ass guitars.. and then during the afternoons you can visit criminals in the hospital to see if you can figure out who the fuck beat the crap out of em

okay, i need your opinions.
i live in a duplex, and there's a woman who lives downstairs with her son. her and her son smoke weed pretty much every day (inside), and i don't think they realize that the smoke goes through our vents, making our whole house reek.
anyways, when this first began when they moved in, we kind of ignored it cause we didn't want to make a huge deal out of it. in january, someone was coming by to look at our house because we were looking for a roommate. we didn't want our house to reek of weed, obviously, so we (my roommate and i) decided to tell our landlord about it.
our landlord talked to the woman downstairs and said that smoking wasn't allowed inside the house and whatnot. she denied smoking weed and said that her son must be doing it (and that she would talk to him and whatnot). i know that's a lie, but it doesn't matter. anyways, the next day, it stopped. our house didn't smell anymore and blahblah. ANYWAYS, they've started smoking inside again and it's really annoying. it's not freezing cold anymore, so they can step outside to smoke.
should i talk to our landlord again or just leave it? i really don't think it'll ever stop for good, cause our landlord is the laziest person in the world and doesn't do anything. yeah, i smoke weed, but i never smoke inside my house and i don't want to smell it 24/7. blech. annnnyways. sorry this is so long. haha.

Dom.. I say tell the landlord. You're a tenant (just like them fuckers) and have equal rights. You could (as Megan said) call the cops. But don't. What you could do is ask the landlord what she'd like you to do in the future. Call her right away if you smell it? Or report it to the cops? Some landlords (tho if this ones a lazy bitch it could be interesting) don't like unwanted publicity on their property. Meaning if the cops start to repeatedly get called to the property. You could make their life hell. Or maybe the lazy beyotch landlord could step up and threaten to evict them.
Either way. I'd say something. I don't mind weed but I know for a fact that the smell starts to drive me crazy after a while. I wouldn't be able to deal with it.

I'm always tempted to tell my landlord about my neighbours who repeatedly have fights in their kitchen. Their kitchen which shares a wall with my bedroom.
But the fights are oddly amusing. Sure, they shriek and swear at each other, and I know they throw small kitchen appliances at each other...and they wake me up at the most inopportune times...
but really. These fights are the most drama filled, idiotic things ever. They're like TV without the vision! They fought for a good hour or more about not getting to the bar at 10pm. Then he called her ugly...and it went all down from there...
Sorry - I would tell my landlord. Although...he wouldn't do much. Maybe make up some health reason or something. I don't know if people can be allergic to pot smoke, but...you never know!

yes, they can be allergic!
but yeah, bring it up again with the landlord. they can go smoke outside, or at a park, or wherever, so long as they don't stink up your place.
