i feel awful - one of my profs arranged a shakespeare movie night tonight which i said i would go to, but this essay is going so much slower than i thought it would. i'm worried that turnout won't be good for the movie night, in which case i'll feel guilty about not going. but i can't leave my essay for that, right?!

I just rounded up all the parts for the new super computer and it comes in at just over $1500. Unfortunately I still haven't decided on or found a heat sink, or a monitor, speakers. Hooray for going over budget!

Just a stock heat sink. The office where my desktop is gets hot, so I want to make sure it's running as cool as possible. I picked out a case that is specifically designed to move air through it as efficiently as possible. All in all it, with shipping, it came in over $1700.

I still need to get my new case. *sigh* Not to mention a new monitor that will allow me to up my res a bit. My speakers are good enough.

I thought I might have to slap a mouthy bitch shoplifter this evening. I can't understand why shoplifters get so confused that we get pissed off when they try to steal. We brought chic in the office, she starts getting mouthy, so I tell her she's going to jail and to shut her mouth. She got real quiet when she got walked out in handcuffs to the police cruiser. Have fun in jail.
