I went to that Spelling Bee I mentioned before. (Yes, I realize how easy it is to stalk me.) I made it to the fourth round after about 20 people had been eliminated out of 38. And what did I get wrong? Damn straight. Illuminati. I knew how to spell it, too, but I guess I didn't really pay attention to what I was doing.

Me + Spelling Bee = Major Boost In Cool Points.

Aww boo to getting eliminated on a word you know how to spell!!

In fourth grade, I was in a spelling bee. I got to the final round, with just me and one other guy (a sixth grader), and then I misspelled quiche. It was a horrible day. I hate that sixth grade bastard. I'd never even heard of quiche at that point! I thought it was slang for butt, like kiester (?) or something. "Sit your quiche down, young man!"

Also, his word was kitchen. LAME.

But his final word was pistachio, and that one is harder, so that's okay, I guess.

Really wants to know the mystery behind this tab in my lower left. It's there right now you assholes that think I'm nuts. Chalk colored tab. Semi-translucent. White arrow in the middle facing to the right.

And it only appears when i go into threads. Disappears at the rest of the cm.

Do a screenshot and upload it so we can see, man. Do it in that thread dedicated to the "problem", though.

Told you I was easy to stalk, Crustine. I must say, school photos never turn out to be attractive...

I'm excited because I get to be on TV! At one point, though, I was standing at the mic waiting for my word, and the judges and pronouncer were mixed up, shuffling papers, and getting organized. That was quite an awkward moment.

My word was alfalfa. I knew how to spell that one!

i've been studying pretty much non-stop for the last four days. it's exhausting, but i'm actually kinda enjoying it since i don't do much of it these days.

I don't study. I procrastinate and reread my notes/"type out a review" (more computer time) the night before or on the way to class.

Magically, I come out with a 96% average from my report card. :)
