Hi guys!!
I haven't been around since september and now there's 1098536089 new posts for me to read. And fresh blood, too! I think last time we had youngin's here was when I was a youngin.
I really should be writing my 20% english paper right now, but me and Procrastination just get along so well. Which is probably why I'm spending so much time reading old posts right now...

hi five for procrastination!!

i should be writing my sociolinguistics paper right now. perhaps i shouldn't have chosen the internet as my subject - too much falls under "research".

it is so not getting done on time

Sure, if I use examples from the CM as anecdotes in my essay :P (which I'm totally doing. yay!)

I got off to realizing university actually takes work. What's up with that? (As evidenced by that research paper that's still not done and probably going to cost me 4%)

Hi Saman and Nikki and Claire!! :D

I wish I could use the CM in my papers. Alas, that'll only happen if Margaret Atwood writes it into a book or something...

write about *modern* canadian authors, not dinosaurs like atwood, and you'll find plenty of room to write about the internet :P

Interestingly, it's for my *modern* canadian fiction class!
The Atwood part is non-negotiable though. Oh well.

 That is ridiculously cool. And potentially incriminating!!! Quick, everyone change usernames so we can't be identified by the authorities after Claire hands in her paper!!!
