I guess this day is different for guys. The majority of my friends are married, engaged or in a relationship and their happiness doesnt bother me one bit.

My friends' happiness wouldn't bother me so much if they didn't shove it in my face and flaunt it all over the place. I mean all my married friends talk about now are their husbands, or if they have kids they talk about their kids. We never have normal conversations anymore and all it does is serve to remind me "Hey Megan, you're alone!"

I agree, Megan, Valentine's Day does suck. People that make a HUGE deal out of it always seem to be the ones with doomed relationships anyways.

Or not. What do I know.

Valentine's Day is gay.

Think I bought my girlfriend something? Hell no.

She thinks it's dumber than even I do.

All that Valentine's Day does is make things ackward. You either make it ackward by doing too much or too little. Rarely can someone win.

Being single being with someone, it's all about sharing the love and possibly a cheesy pizza. <3

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Well, it's so 269 AD. Pretty sure some people didn't take too kindly to the death and all.

Dude, go listen to your Roxette cassette tape and throw on Pretty In Pink and cry yourself to sleep! Also, play some Super Mario Bros. when you get the chance.

I'd offer my experiences on Valentine's Day, but... well, I don't really have any. I know that my sister and her boyfriend (they've been going out for about two years now) don't do anything for Valentine's Day. No presents, no date, etc. I agree, though, from my "experience" (watching TV and reading books), everyone just gets all worried about giving too much or not enough and blah blah blah.

My parents just got back from Jamaica and said they were at the same hotel as some British rockstar. They said he was just married, signing autographs, in his thirties, wearing a Sex Pistols t-shirt, and had a mohawk.

Can anybody help me find who the heck this guy is? It's driving me insane!

however, we did have an absolutely wonderful saturday night. which had no tie in to valentine's whatsoever. we just like each other enough to spend time together and enjoy that time, no matter when that time may be! no need to delegate it to one stupid day.

i do like the red gummy candies that come out around now, though. that's the only good thing about valentine's. but...those also come out around christmas.
