here's as good as i can remember:

for the workforce drowning
between rupture and rapture
understanding in a car crash
paris in flames
marches and manuevers
cross out the eyes
how long is the night
signals over the air
jet black new year
division street
steps ascending
this song is brought to you by a falling bomb

Encore:
war all the time
autobiography of a nation

they might have played one more from full collapse, but i think i got at least most of it.
I highly recomend you go.

holy crap, that is the EXACT setlist (i'm fairly sure) they did here in Utah.

Anyways, here's my recap of the two concerts I attended this weekend.

The North American Tridubs, The Delusions, and Built to Spill: overall, very nice show. The first band was not very original, but not bad. The Delusions were awesome because they had a lot of long instrumental stuff and half the people were also in Built To Spill. Built to Spill played a lot of great songs, although I'm fairly sure they were all drunk of their asses. They didn't play my favorite song, Center of the universe, so I was very dissapointed. Overall, a good time.

That was friday night. On Saturday I saw Thursday.
it started out bad because the show had a venue change and I didn't know so I drove to the wrong venue and then had to back track 30 miles to get to the correct place, which was a much larger venue than the original, so I was pissed.
Coheed and Cambria was pretty awesome. I didn't know much of their songs so I can't really comment, but I still enjoyed them.
Thrice was a bit better. I only knew songs from Identity Crisis and the Illusion of Safety because I don't have the new CD. and even though I was fairly sure they wouldn't, they didn't play my favorite song Phoenix Ignition so that was dissapointing.

But Thursday made up for everything. I had to go to the front,, it was even more insane than the last time I saw them, but it was great. They are such a good live band. At first i thought the show was going to be way lame because of all the Fashion Kids there, but there was actually a few who really knew the music, so that made me happy. They played a lot of great songs, and I had a lot of fun. However, even Thursday did not play my favorite song, Standing on the Edge of Summer.

In summary.

These concerts were fun, but bands need to learn to play my favorite songs, God Damn It.

 i wanted that song too.. i was kinda hoping for it for a while, then i realized they were getting near the end and i still needed to hear War all the time, porcelain, and asleep in the chapel, so i dropped it and kept hoping for the other three. at least i got one of them.. and steps ascending which was a godsend.

but i cant complain about the setlist at all. it was better than i expected even without those few songs.

SATURDAY SATURDAY SATURDAY

Alkaline Trio

Alan is happy for once.

I shall be "hangin out" in the soundcheck.

You won't be.

I will hang out with Matt fucking Skiba.

Again, you won't be.

This is my only reason for living.

God bless Alkaline Trio, even if they sing about "the devil"

yeah i know. i effing HATE salt air. It is so lame. I might go to the december show...I haven't decided yet....the only band I'd really want to see is Thursday so maybe, depending on my financial situation, and how much of a mood i'm in to put up with saltair.

Hehe, I think every teenager in Utah hates Salt air, its a cement box in the middle of nowhere and it stinks so bad. I can't figure out who put that building there.
