well Detroit and Buffalo pretty well are Canadian cities when it comes to OLP... they seem to be into OLP a lot more than anywhere else in the states so thats why I called it a generalization.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

even though i prefer clumsy over sd, i have to say thats by far their biggest single.

that was when they broke through, perhaps not in the us, but definatly in canada. and im sure everyone agrees sd was a bigger song than clumsy (except maybe neil ) one could even say that their later success was a result of sd.

sd is the one old song that EVERYONE knows at concerts and it was one of the biggest songs of 1997. i dont think that 5 or so years from now SOT will have that amount of recognition.

ps. clumsy still ROCKS

I actually think that even though Somewhere Out There was a hit here, their biggest hit was "Is Anybody Home?"

I think their biggest single around here was probably Consequence of Laughing.
Some of you probably think I left. But was I ever here to start?

89X in Detroit played a lot of OMA and IAH, and those were the first two OLP songs I really remember hearing a lot on the radio.

Is Anybody Home is the first I heard on the radio........although back in "the day" I guess there was a radio station back in Minnesota that played Starseed on several occasions.

in the states its gotta be SOT, for the simple reason that it led to Gravity opening at #9 on the billboard charts....none of their other cds got anywhere near that...i remember happiness opened in the 60s and SM in the 80s.....and Clumsy eventually went gold..but it took it quite a while
