Duh.
I'm well aware of WHY my room is the hottest in the house. But there's not really anything I can do about it.

what exactly is this proving, besides mac has realized that IBM's power pc chips have already reached their maximum potential, and mac simply wants to keep an competative edge on the market. This is the second hardware change for macintosh, but i know it wont be the last. Its no different then running windows on an amd based machine or an intel machine.
I guess that means "nothing is."

Seriously.
A Mac will (among other things) give me this:
http://www.apple.com/ilife/garageband/
And that is well worth ANYTHING.
holyshit

Holy fuck, I'm actually breathing faster looking at all these features. This is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. (and I'm just talking about Garage Band)

I'm positive there's at least one program for PC that can do the same things.
Ew Mac. Ew.

well that, and if you rip the developer kit of os x, you can dual boot your current computer with os x. Thats what we did at the office.
Anyhow, it means you could probably get garage band running on your current pc.

Do mean being able to set corners for different functions like turning on the screensaver? If so, I forget what they're called too

But I'll check my computer when I get home.
By the way, MACS RULE!

PCs used to do the screensaver thing, too. I still occasionally expect the screensaver to go on when I put my mouse in the upper right hand corner.
