Yeah, but... we do have cooties. Lando just must have gotten a hold of the antidote.

Hunh, odd. I hadn't heard/thought of that song in forever, either... but then about a month ago, I found a vob of the video for it on a site I check for videos regularly. I downloaded and enjoyed it thoroughly. I miss the 90s.

I know that was supposed to be a shot at their newer material, but it's still true. :P

It's like a 500lb bomb I think.

Eeenteresting.

I don't think I'd say it really was. It was pretty subtle. And I don't think a 500lb bomb is very subtle.

Your analogy = fail.

apparently, the most complicated part of applying for graduate scholarships is using the correct envelope.

well i had two profs write me reference letters. i provided them with document envelopes, as i thought the instructions told me to. turns out, i read the wrong section of the instructions. now i need them both to switch the letters into new envelopes (the envelopes are signed over the seal, so i can't do it myself) so i can submit the application preferably on time. the kicker? one of the profs gave me the letter in the correct size envelope, and i had them change it, causing much frenzy in the english department as the poor secretary had to retype the form for the letter.

i feel like an idiot. i also hate this application process. and i read the instructions, oh, ten times? more? i kept seeing "document envelope" instead of "letter envelope". but i've spent too much of the past two months working on this damn application to let it fail over something so trivial.

I'm guessing she wrote two letters:

"Dear U of Toronto, I love your program thusly and I've found your staff to be very helpfull and friendly (Unlike those stuck up bastartds at U of Montreal) ...."

"Dear U of Montreal, I love your program thusly and I've found your staff to be very helpfull and friendly (Unlike those stuck up bastartds at U of Toronto) ...."

You can see how this could end up bad.

I can write a letter of recommendation for you Claire. Or, I can write one if you aren't accepted.

Matt wrote:To whom it may concern,

This letter is in reference to denial of acceptance into your academic institution for Ms. Lacey.

FUCK YOU

Sincerely,
Mr. Widner

Let me know if you need me to type that up in MS Word.
