Heh, we're auctioning a case of Cuban cigars, a diamond & pearl necklace, a power washer, a leather jacket, a portable DVD player, an outdoor canopy thingy, loads of gift certificates and gift baskets from various stores. We may also have a trip of some kind up for grabs, but I'm not certain on that one. We don't have any of it online, but I guess it's an option for if we don't actually sell the stuff at the event, though. *ponders*

does anyone know how to make it so you can't see a friends status update on facebook without deleting them as a friend?

i think you have to minimize all friends status updates.
you can always just block them, not really deleting but putting them on the back burner of your life :P

I want to block a certain person's status updates cause they constantly remind me of him. What he's doing, where he's going...etc. etc. I just want to not think about it. Without removing him as a friend.

You're uber cool.

Muse = :drool:

I can play the intro too but it always makes me sad when I realize that
a) I can't sing like Matt Bellamy
..and
b) An awesome sonic explosion isn't going to occur when the intro's done..

Let me get this straight - you don't want to think about him/it, but you don't want to remove him as a friend?

Cass, if you don't want to have anything to do with this person, then remove him as a friend! If he's so destructive to your sanity, just get rid of him :P

Naw I get it. I hate being constantly reminded of someone when you just really don't want to think about them. You end up feeling like your either going crazy or stalking them.

I get it too, but the best therapy for me has always been getting rid of their contact information :P

Well, I'm assuming from what Cass said that its not the person who-must-not-be-named that she wants to ignore, but rather some other friends who's status update is about them, thus reminding her of that person. Way to blame the messenger! haha.
