Do sometimes all people piss you of?
Or some people piss you off all the time?
Or some people piss you off some of the time?

Apparently I forgot there's not a lot of people posting. So it probably won't get much use. My bad.

Good question...

Some people piss me off most of the time.

AND

Some people piss me off all the time.

So, I had a knife pulled on me at work last night while apprehending a shoplifter. Moral of the story: Don't pull a knife on 4 grown men. You'll get the shit beat out of you, choked, and crammed face first into a cement sidewalk.

I hope he enjoys his 3 felony charges.

Awww Matt I'm glad you're ok. That must have been scary, but he definitely chose the wrong people to mess with!
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Well, the guy tried to escape out the fire door near the back, but me and another manager were already outside waiting. As he started to run we grabbed him and then our asset protection guys came out and grabbed on too. He reached in his pocket to get his knife and when he brought it out everyone grabbed his wrist immediately, then Randy placed him in a chokehold, I grabbed him by the throat, one AP had an armbar on, the other had an ankle lock, and the shoplifter fell face first into the receiving door before we pinned him to the concrete. Good times.

Glad you weren't hurt sir. I guess it's good to get a bit of an adrenaline rush out of work every now and then, as long as none of the good people are hurt.

What the crap! We need crazy shit like that going on at our store. I do nothing but watch the local latino population stare at the ethnic CD section for hours at a time. Grr.

Though one of our APA's got harassed by a group of kids on 2 different occasions, so our market AP "head" (I am assuming he is) gave the ok for us to trespass them. Gosh I want to be there!

Good to hear no one was hurt and that you put the smackdown on the guy.

Thank god I work in server room where only 5 people know the combination. I did get to disable the security keyfob of some guy who went all religous zealous wacko on us and sent some threatening letter before he came in for his shift.

+1 for preventing attacks before they happen!
