either way, i do like the position they are going to be in next year
if the cap does go down most of their players are under short term contract to they will actually have something to work with
and i have no idea what the hell Philly has done, they were just stupid i think

ive seen the replay from the hit on lindross a few times but only streamed and i dont see how its THAT bad
and as for quinn's comments....

the only thing i really heard Quinn say was,
"That one kid Boulton took a run at one of our guys. That's trying to hurt people and there should be no place in the game for that. This was a disgrace."
he did give a pretty good elbow to the jaw of Lindros
but the play by Sutton on Tucker was obviously much more dirty
i hear it took about 20 stitches to close his head up

tsn.ca has clips in the leafs report
thats what im basing it on
i agree about the sutton hit.. that was cheap.. but quinn also said stuff about hartley being (as did domi and others) and thats what i meant...
i mean ive never seen a hartley team do that kinda crap
to me it seemed like quinn was insinuating that hartley made sutton/boulton do that or that he told em to and that was normal for him... which is wrong

i dont either
mainly cuz its atlanta
the only time i bother watching them is if the habs are playing em and it happens to be televised
and i dont pay much attention to that aspect since it rarely happens with them

Sabres and Panthers tonight. Should be good. The Sabres are in 5 or 6 way tie for first place in the NHL with 8 points

at the most teams are only 6 games in to the season
and the sabers arent tied for first now anyway
Detroit, Nashville, and Ottawa are
