For absolutely no reason, too. They claimed they found me passed out, lying on the street, which wasn't the case at all. I was rediculously coherent and quite safe, thank you very much. Do they not have certain requirements to enable them to throw people in the drunk tank?

Public intoxication. If you looked drunk; you can head to the tank, Yannic. At least, thats how it is south of the tundra.

You silly drunkard...

Depends where you are....

In Amsterdam; they have weed bars. You can buy more weed than you can alcohol in that town. haha.

What exactly were you doing, though? Did you just step outside the bar for a moment, or what was going on?

I was sitting on the curb kind of with my head in my hands, but if anyone talked to me, I'd sit up and talk coherently. I was waiting for my friends to come out at last call, but unfortunatly it was only like quarter after one, so I had a while to wait.

First, the popo asked me if I had money for a cab, which I did, and then when he couldn't find a cab in thirty seconds, he was like, "Well, she's probably going to choke on her own vomit, so we should take her in."

Sounds to me like they thought you were not coherent. The police should have administered soberiety testing if they were that concerned; first. If you were coherent, though.....they should've left you alone.

Make the Canadian police act differently than down here. Then again, I've felt like NY police are the worst i've ever come across.

Basically it was just frustrating, because I wasn't disturbing the peace, I wasn't putting myself or anyone else in danger. I just needed some air.

I probably should have just left at the point that I realized the night was over for me, but my friend was still inside and he had my car, and for some reason that was important to me...

In the end, it worked out anyways, because I got a bed to sleep in for a couple hours, and they stayed up all night and came to pick me up at 6.

As they were locking the door on me, I kind of giggled and yelled, "Hey, I think I came here once when I was ten with Scouts!"

Heeheehee...

The GM of the Edmonton Oilers.

He's basically an incompetant GM.

Definitely.

He managed to cripple the team in a years time. He traded Pronger for what was essentially a medicore player and a draft pick. He then traded Ryan Smyth for nothing, who essentially was the face of the oilers, or rather the heart and soul of the team. Then he was in a good position to accuire some top stars with last weeks draft, but blew it. And then he failed to accuire any of the free agents, namely Ryan Smyth, who signed with the Avs for 6.25 mill for five years. The oilers offer was three quarters lower. Then he traded away Jason Smith, who is the captain of the team and a great defencemen.

So yeah, I really hate the guy,

Whats he trying to do?? Go young and re-build?

How you are right now; is how I'm gonna feel if the Timberwolves trade away Kevin Garnett. Arrgh. It'll make me miss Minnesota, less, for a little bit.

Essentially yes, he's trying to rebuild. But he's doing a terrible job at it because he has no Sidney Crosbies or Alexander Ovechkins or Vincent Lecavaliers or Dany Heatlys.

Yannic, we've had a great weekend!

Has anyone ever wanted to put their parents up for adoption?
