And Columbus on the 17th
I'll put forth a bit of effort and try my luck at winning tix. Otherwise never became a huge enough NIN fan to actualyl buy tickets to see them.

On a different note:
I wonder what it's like for their bus going through customs.

Customs Officer: And what are you carrying on board?
Driver: Just a couple of Nine Inch Nails.
Customs Officer: *Draws 9mm* Please step off of the bus sir

This tour is worth watching, even if you are just a casual fan. It has, by far, the best stage show that I have seen anyone perform.

Do they have fiddle players that can do backflips?
Any synchronized treadmill antics?

No.

Robin Finck does rock the mandolin on a few songs.

My post on albumsix.com (Weezer board) about last night:

Four words. Front row center, baby!

The guys were great... from what I could hear, anyway. The sound wasn't too great where we (yeah, "we"... I made friends ) were, vocals were hard to hear. They were certainly fun to watch, though! All the switching really makes the show move along quickly.

The crowd, on the other hand. OK, why are like half of all Weezer fans FRICKING EVIL?!? I don't understand it. I am SO beat up right now, it's ridiculous. I understand that happens at concerts, but the extent of the bruising is insane for a band like Weezer, who isn't exactly speed metal or anything. I had to fight the entire show to avoid being crushed to death against the barrier. It's a real good thing I'm freakishly strong.

If anyone here was in the group of idiots behind me, I HATE YOU. As if the violence wasn't enough, nobody could frigging sing in key. Sure could sing LOUD, though.

Anyway, on a better note! I'm listening to my bootleg right now, and it didn't turn out as bad as I thought it was going to (because of the things I already mentioned). At least not yet. It sounds listenable. The vocals are really low, though, but that's expected (can't really record something you can't hear). Can't hear the off key singers too badly yet. YET. There was a girl who was behind me who was RIDICULOUSLY loud and off key. I haven't heard the songs featuring her guest vocals yet... oh good lord, there she is. She decided to ruin "Say It Ain't So" and "El Scorcho". Nice of her, eh? I'd like to go officially on record saying THAT'S NOT ME SINGING. Anyway, even with that, it's still not that bad (ok, you're gonna want to kill her as badly as I did). This won't be shared for a few weeks, probably. Gotta mail it to California to be transferred digitally.

What else. Oh, pictures! I took 175, so obviously I'm not posting all of them. If anyone wants all of my pics (and a short clip of Sliver I took because I knew I wouldn't be able to get a still picture of the record player kick), IM me and I'll send them to ya. For now, though, here's some of the better ones.

*snorts* Oh Rivers.

OK, that's all from me for now. I've been awake for 37 hours straight, and I need sleep for a block party (which is now in my house because it's going to rain) and Weezer in Camden tomorrow. Oh dear god, I'm not gonna survive.

Do you have a full 8.2 megapixel original sized pic of this:

OMGCAMDENSHOWWASAMAZINGOMG!!!!1111

Seriously. The band was ON FIRE. And Rivers was out of his FRICKING mind! Like... more than usual! Pat even came to the mic after an especially nuts rendition of "Troublemaker" and said "Rivers, that was insane, dude."

Holy crap. Even from near the back of the giant venue, I think I enjoyed tonight more than last night. Though not getting beat up, and being able to hear the vocals helped.

OMG I want to go back and see that AGAIN. But my bootleg will have to suffice!

Not 8.2 cos my camera blows. It's 4.0. Plus that picture is sadly a bit blurry. :( Scott's still king, though.

Image <-- Scott.

He most certainly does. And it's awesome.

Thanks! I wasn't a big fan. In Atlantic City they were ok, but boring. Tonight in Camden, I could actually hear the vocals and I didn't like the dude's voice.
