looking up scholarships is scaring the shit out of me.

i look up scholarships, see all the volunteering requirements, or essays that need to be written, and then give up. this is why i have no scholarships. i have the marks....just not the volunteering, due to my constantly working to support myself. but nooo, there's never a scholarship for 'broke university students who aren't supported by their parents, and have zero time for volunteering and extracurriculars between work and school that don't require an essay because I HAVE NO TIME'
phew. i swear i'm not bitter.
i'm going to reattempt sleeping.

yeah the essays to be written are an overwhelming amount of work.

And then there's the fact that some people just aren't that great at writing essays, and if they can't write a good essay then they don't get the scholarship. That's a bit biased, don't you think?

No, because essay writing is a key component of every university/college cirrirculum and the point of scholarships is to give admittance to students who will do academically well and reflect well on the school. Even if some students don't do well in this specific type of education that is what they teach. Is it fair? Probably not, but thats how the system works. Its not the scholarship system thats biased, its the whole education system.

I have a scholarship and I didn't have to write anything.
I probably won't after this semester though...
Anyhow, I am trying to get this really cool version of Barret's "I Want Money" that was on Nip/Tuck but I can't figure out who sings it or how to get it. Yes, I have been googling for the past hour. Any other ideas?

I have a french test in a little more than an hour. I've been studying really hard - I want to pull my french grade up this year.
Wish me luck!
