On my way home tonight, as I was going over the I90 bridge, there was a HUGE flash of lightning.
By the time I got to Feura Bush Road, it was pouring rain. Thunder. Lightning. All over the place. A telephone pole about 100 feet from the intersection of Feura Bush Road and Elsmere Avenue had been struck by lightning (as far as I could tell) and was in the road. The road was cut off and there were NiMo trucks out trying to fix it.
...And in the midst of all this rain and lightning and darkness, there was a man out mowing his lawn.

It's true. Except I found out later that the pole was down because of a car accident and not lightning.

You know what really pisses me off about the live Thief recording I have?
Right after Raine says "This is a song about a little girl named Mena who died of cancer this (month? summer? I can't quite make it out)," someone in the audience laughs really loudly.

I'm sooooo sore and I feel reeeaaaally ugly right now. I just got braces on and the appointment hurt my already sore jaw really bad, which is now giving me a bad headache. And I can't find my tylenol w/ codeine
I don't think I'll be able to eat anything today.
Now I look 16. I'm already told I look much younger than my age... this is NOT going to be helpful.
Owweeeee!!!

The first week or so after you get them is the worst. Scrambled eggs, soup and breakfast drinks saved me.
But after that they're really not hard to get used to. Or at least that was how it was for me.
Btw, take advil or tylenol or whatever before any ortho appointments you have because adjustments make everything hurt for another day or two, depending on how much is adjusted.

I really hope it gets better soon. In the meantime, I shall provide you with tons of hugs.
...By the way, prepare to be pounced on at Edgefest because as soon as I see you I'm going to run up to you and give you a HUUUUUUGE hug.

I'm back from three days in Ocean City! It was lovely and I spent some time on the beach and played 10 rounds of mini golf and skeeballed lots and had funnel cake and yay! Man there are so many posts to catch up on...

I missed you all! I don't know if I'll be able to read all the posts since I was gone because there are soooooooooo many but I hope everyone is well
. Sucks about the braces but hopefully it will make you better and everything will be happy and awesome for you yay!!
