ah crap... just realized how many "aww Kathy's" I've generated in the last few days. I gotta stop sharing, or things have to get better soon. Geez

So this morning at 9:30 my Uncle wakes up to find his basement under 5 inches of water (from the run off from the melting snow) and the subwoofer for his sound system is making all sorts of crazy noises.
He calls Scott my Aunt's boyfriend to help him clean out the water cos Scott owns a carpet cleaning business and has one of those industrial strengther pumps that will get the water out fast. So Scott says he is on his way.
Half an hour later Scott still isn't there, so my Uncle calls him back to find out what's going on and he is driving my Aunt to the hospital because she had a miscarriage. She was 10 weeks pregnant. She had an infection and they couldn't give her antibiotics for another 2 weeks.
So, I've been crying off and on cos it's just so sad. I can't even begin to imagine how my aunt must be feeling
It was all so my (little) step sister's birthday and all the plans she had with her mum are cancelled now because of what happened.
And I'm sick. My day just sucks.

We just talked on the phone... he finally sucked it up and apologized. I'm still mad but trying to forgive him. I threatened to take a date to Oasis next week if he doesn't smarten up
