My first time skiing story's a lot like Kathy's!

My friends had all skied before, and they thought the best way to teach me how to ski would be to take me up to the top of the slope and make me ski down. When my teacher found out about this (it was a class trip) he got pretty mad.

And he was a really calm, cool guy.
It was just the kiddie slope, but it was scary enough! Oh, and the entire ground was ice, not snow. Though after getting lessons from my teacher and getting the hang of it (sorta), I liked skiing on the ice a lot better than the snow the next day.
Going full speed, I ran myself into an orange construction fence...

... at the bottom of the hill and my skis got stuck in the holes making my legs go crazy ways. It was funny. While I lied on the ground, my friends took pictures instead of helping me out/up.

omg I was looking for a picture of an orange fence! I ran into the fence about halfway down the hill and clung to it for dear life. This was after I accidentally crossed over from the main hill, thru some little triangle flags, across 2 small moguls (which were flagged off... if I knew how to change direction I clearly wouldn't have gone over there), at which time I fell and slid into the fence. It took awhile for everyone to convince me to let go of the fence and go down the hill. My friends enjoyed this waaaayyy too much

Yay for all of us crashing into the orange fence!

We're so uncoordinated.
And, Soozy, unfortunately I never even got to see the pictures.

My friend Joey who took them lost them before I got the chance.

I bet they were hilarious, though.

Haha, no. We Jersey folk tend to go to Pennsylvania to ski.

I'm going to have to say that Star Trek is much better. As long as it's The Next Generation.

This week sucked ass.
It was reading week. No school.
The only thing I planned to do all week (besides school work) was go visit my sister on Saturday. And because of a snowstorm on Saturday morning, we didn't go.
The rest of the week, I had studying/essay writing to do.
I did nothing.
I procrastinated and procrastinated until now; it's Sunday night and I have done nothing. 2 midterms this week, and a major essay due in two weeks. And I did nothing.
Should make for a fun couple of weeks.

My boss talked to me Friday about some things that I needed to do over the weekend (for a particular deal we're trying to win), and he also jotted down a few notes on a scrap of paper. After his brief explanation I thought I understood and would remember. Now I've procrastinated until Sunday night, I don't remember what he said, and I can't read his handwriting

I've been there before. Except it was 5 minutes after we had the conversation and I couldn't remember what the hell was said.
