i babysat tonight for a 1 year old. the kid uses a pacifier all the time. when i gave him stuff to eat, he would grab the food in both hands and try to put it in his mouth, forgetting that he had the pacifier in his mouth. and then when he'd remember, he'd try to take the pacifier out of his mouth, forgetting that he had food in both his hands, and would consequently toss the contents of his hands away unintentionally while he tried to take the pacifier out. it was very amusing, and cute in the way that babies usually are. made a mess though :S
I read this as an 11 year old and couldn't figure out why the kid has a pacifier. Apparently I can't read.

I was just putting away my washing up, and because my kitchen is rubbish and the cupboards are too small my mixing bowls have to live on top of the cupboards. So I put my big glass bowl up there, turned around and then suddenly it fell off, luckily onto a saucepan which was on the hob below, so it miraculously didn't smash. But I turned around to stop it falling on the floor and I don't know what I did, but my chest REALLY hurt, and my wrist a bit too. It doesn't really hurt any more, but still feels funny.
I don't know what's the matter with me keeping damaging myself recently. It sucks

Does anyone know of an equivalent site to record nerd and CD tracker but for books - somewhere I can list all my books online? The only one I've been able to find wants me to pay $10 a year if I have more than 200 books - which I'm pretty sure I do.

OK, whew.
That could be awkward, though.
