the board is still the board.. there's more than just the regular bandwagon fans on there.. and the sens board is still dead

To be honest, the Sens board hasn't be lively at all for the whole season. Hell, even GDT's rarely ran over ten pages deep.

he's not a kid. he's 21. he gets charged as an adult if he gets arrested for something. Since the position he's playing is regarded so highly, it comes with that much criticism. he can't deal, he shouldn't be playing that position. yes there are going to be growing pains, getting harassed by fanatics is part of the learning process.

So a hat trick for not just Ovie but for Crosby as well.

Does the East Coast know what defense is?

considering theyre 2 of the best offensive players in the game and fleury has always been a tad questionable with his goaltending and varlamov is a rookie what do you expect?

sid was right for the record..

if all the hats came down at once it wouldve been no problem and he wouldnt have said anything but the fact they came down in waves like that is where the problem lies given these guys have to sit around and wait.. tis not like the intermissions where they can skate around for 5 mins prior to the game starting back up and where they can properly stretch.. theyre sitting around waiting and cant really do much before the game gets back up and running and they (the pens) have to fight the other team and the momentum they have but they also have to fight the effects of downtime.. theres a reason a lot of shot blockers dont take their skates off during games, especially if they take a hard shot off the foot... its along those lines basically. (i forget where now but i once heard of a guy who's foot was so swollen after blocking a few shots that after the game he could barely take his skate off and his foot was practically purple heh.. it mightve been stevie-y but im thinking of someone else as well, peca maybe)

When hockey season is finally over can we talk about a different sport? Please.

How about we discuss the news that came out today that Brett Favre is possibly talking to Minnesota. Vikings are a lock next season if we get Favre.

didnt know we ran a fascist hockey only thread? your'e free to talk about whatever..

as for favre... dude has been one of my fave QB's all time.. the fact he dropped and let ummm.. dude from the giants get the all time sack record is still really classy (since it was in the meadowlands) but seriously.. i think he needs to retire. the vikes will make the playoffs sure but they wont get far IMO that is brett remains healthy.

I enjoyed watching the Kentucky Derby on Saturday more than I've enjoyed the NHL playoffs this year...
