Really? I heard Chinese New Year on the radio like 50 times today. Not that this is a good source, I'm just surprised.

you mean.. you seriously didnt know that this was not exclusive to the chinese? :no:

countries that celebrate it include vietnam, singapore, korea, mongolia, etc.

Cool, I actually didn't know that. I've only ever heard it called Chinese New Year, so I was left to assume it was exclusively a Chinese tradition.
