clumsychild_ wrote:My old school did the duct tape thing with a music teacher last year for United Way!
Does that mean it's also in the running for best school ever?
hey! we're doing it for the United Way too. actually, we've got an entire United Way Week going on at our school.

("rent-a-friend" is essentially when the whole school gets together for a giant auction. the merchandise? brave senior student volunteers and/or teachers

! and the highest bidders get to "rent" them for a day, making them do ANY slave activity they want them doing. well, anything within legal limits.

)

O-GRAMS
RING-o-grams,, COOKIE-ograms,
SONG-o-grams DUCT TAPE-o-grams
More Details to Come
ring-o-grams and song-o-grams are new this year...from what i hear it's much like a duct tape-o-gram ...except for ring-o-grams, a senior student will interrupt the class of your choice and "propose" to the person you want, with a Ring Pop (), and, if you want, give them a lovey-dovey message that may or may not be read in front of the class. song-o-grams follow the same principle i would think, except maybe they put on playful renditions of Hillary Duff, i don't know.
we also have rose-o-grams, but those occur near valentine's day and aren't part of United Way week. they're the same as ring-o-grams but the person gets a rose and message from their secret or not-so-secret admirer.
point being. i'm sorry but my school kicks some heavy-duty ass.

best place ever, i'm afraid to graduate. heh.

I wish my school would let us do cool stuff. They won't even let us have dances, apparently we can't handle them.

Our school did all kinds of stuff like that too! It was so much fun! We also had a game where you would pay to throw pudding on people... it was hilarious! And each year the senior student collaborated on a prank... convinced that their prank would go down in history as the best ever. Oh I miss the fun we had...

yeaaaahh grad pranks!
once, the seniors microwaved a telephone. the building was evacuated for toxic fumes.
another year, they tried turning the auditorium into a swimming pool. don't know too many details about that though. i hear some of the really old historic chairs were permanently ruined and they had to pay for them.
i think those are the best ones in recent-ish times.

one year the grads put goldfish in our huge fountain. The following year they filled it with over a hundred packs of Jello... it turned all foamy and messed up the whole courtyard. It also solidified in the pipes and they had to help pay to fix the fountain, and they had to help clean the courtyard cuz it was all stained blue!

a few years ago at my high school, the grad class put fish in the air ducts. the fish started rotting, and we were stuck writing exams in a school that smelled fetid, because it took a long time to uncover where exactly the smells were eminating from. fuckers.

That's been done many times at schools around here, but it's one grad class that does it as a grad prank at another school.
This one year they also managed to put a car ON vss (local high school).

The Latin club at our high school did that, cept they called it an actual slave auction... like they used to do back in Roman times or whatever.
Our senior prank was the dumbest thing ever and wasn't even a prank. It's cos the "popular kids" did it instead of us. We could've come up with something insane, I'm sure. But instead they like... decorated the school or something.

I don't even remember exactly because it was so lame... Melissa, do you?

When I was a junior they locked a goat in the principal's office overnight.
