i knew there was the odd comment that was dumb, but Jen's become good at shrugging them off. I stopped reading for amonth though when i lost my internet, something must have happened more serious

yeah, people are major jerks.
Matt's made himself very accessible to his fans over the years ... alot more than most artists. Problem is, that means he's also made himself accessible for people who don't like his music and/or his political views. I'm not sure exactly what went on this time, but in the past abusive comments have ranged from crude insults to ranting attacks and even death threats against himself and his wife (and worse/more vulgar threats have been made about his wife - I'm sure you can fill in the blank there).

Jen generally posts about her dogs, and fashion, and just runs a basically personaly blog with friends. Because of this people often caller her a "dumb #@%&" or blond %$#@. Stuff like that she handled well, but something for serious must have happened.
She had some creepy guys that went there for her pics, hopfully no one threatened anything like that.
