I think we've had a used copy of the new TV on the Radio where I work for a couple weeks now. I haven't listened to it yet, because their last album was scary. :(

TV On The Radio - Return to Cookie Mountain

I really want to know how you people could find the Young Liars EP scary. I thought it was brilliant. It took the best parts My Bloody Valentine had to offer, and mixed it with the best parts of, well, good vocals.

This album would probably be the best thing released this year of not for my strong love for Islands, Man Man, and Bob Dylan.

Queens of the Stone Age - Rated R... or just R... or whatever they're calling it!
Starflyer 59 - My Island

Someone on this board listened to Starflyer 59 and had an avatar of the "Old" album cover. Whoever that person is, I thank them because it was because of them that I checked SF59 out last year.

And now a day later I got my signed copy of the new the Dears album, Gang of Losers. I cannot distinguish the signatures though, and that pisses me off.

Xiu Xiu - The Air Force
Bonnie "Prince" Billy - The Letting Go
Saturday Looks Good To Me - Love Will Find You

The cool thing about the SLGTM cd is that it came out in 2002 and only 100 were made, and I scored one at the record store I was working at for the morning. It's #48, so I am quite pleased with my luck. Even Fred doesn't have a copy of this album.
