i still say the sens best chances are to tank like fuck and win the tavares sweeps
if all else fails you walk away with a guy like victor hedman or evander kane (i loved watchin that kid in the juniors btw)

haha yeah i know the feeling
if this wasnt the 100th year and all that.. i'd really really love for the habs to tank and get tavares.. that kid is amazing

Yeah no shit!
But, I would rather have the Senators finish out this season on a high note. With them knowing that they turned their game around and having confidence in themselves, well thats worth more than Tavares.

haha I know!
It saddens me that shitty teams like Tampa Gay and the Ilanders may have a chance of getting him.

All your guys' talk about hockey makes me realize why ESPN really does avoid talking about it.

because espn is shit and considers spelling bees to sport?
oh and doc.. the isles at least have a history in the league and stuff.. i mean.. they won 4 straight cups before the oiler's run w/ gretz and the boys
bossy, trottier, some guys im forgetting because i havent slept in forever and shouldnt.. yeah.. a history and stuff.. plus the natural rivalry with the rags

Still, I'd rather have Tavares go to a team I like, say Colorado.

so he can torch the oil 6 times a year?

Better than the Islanders!

the isles are going to be good again sooner rather than later IMO tavares + kyle okposo + josh bailey and a few of the other young guys + dipietro for the next 3008098 years.. they'll definitely be a good team

Dany Manslaughter?
Sand, are all Habs fans this bitter?

heater's one of the best players on the opposite team and that's all there is to it..
ie.:
1. lecavalier gets booed at times when the lightning are killing the habs
2. crosby gets booed all the time even tho the fans actually love the kid (he played in the q for rimouski, he took the time while with the oceanic to learn french, his dad played for the habs for a short period of time as a backup goalie and he's always been a habs fan)
etc etc etc
theres many other examples as well but in the end.. when all is said and done... if the player were to lace em up for the habs they'd be loved (and a lot of players tend to ignore that stuff given jagr has said he'd like to play for them as have others who have been booed by the fans haha)
