Yeah, well, it was that bad. Honestly, I am never going to a show if the venue is larger than that at Clutch Cargo's or unless it's at least a 16+ show. I am not putting up with the shit of a gaggle of girls that don't know words to songs, but sure as hell know how to scream, "Chris, I want your babies!"

Never.Again.

this concert made the insane pushing at the Detroit OLP concert last september look like nothing.

During MXPX, there was a crowd surfer right above me and we were so packed together that we all couldn't put our hands up, so she fell on us and we all fell down and people fell on top of me. Rob freaked out and pulled me out and we ran to the back of the crowd and stood there for the rest of the show. It was scary. I had never had that happen to me before. I almost lost my glasses twice by fucking crowd surfers and my jacket fell off of me when i fell but some guy picked it up and Rob got it for me.

Yeah it was crazy. After Audioslave, I honestly thought I could survive anything, but now I know that Dashboard is more hardcore. Hahahahahaha.

I wish I had a knife with me, I really do. They didn't bother to check people for anything, and if I had it, I could cut the people that cut me open and pulled my hair. I think they would look nice without a nose.

yeah, i'm glad i didn't go. i would have been broke as a joke.

anyway. AFI. they were really good.

opening band Bleeding Through. worst hardcore i've ever heard. this dude was all about fucking up the stage or something, i couldn't really tell what he was saying. and they had the most out of place chick keyboardist.

then was hot water music. holy shit, drastic change. they were good, but i was being semi-crushed so i was not really paying attention.

AFI, of course, was next. i think this was my 4th time seeing them, and i was not really feeling them tonight. i mean, they put on a great show and all, but something was just off. i still had a lot of fun though, and bought some shirts, which i pretty much never do at shows. UGH UGH UGH, when i got out of the pit, i had someone's fucking gum smeared all over my shoulder. GRO-OSS. ok that's it.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That was one of the best shows I have been to. Definitely the best out of the 3 I attended last week. And if you like Dashboard Confessional...I mean really.....death cab is like 500000 times better. You need to listen to them more. Buy the Photo Album. Buy the new album, Transatlanticism, which comes out tomorrow. They are a beautiful, beautiful band and that was a BEAUTIFUL show! *dies*
Sorry. I just can't believe anyone who likes good music could not like Death Cab For Cutie.

I donno, I hated Dashboard the first time I heard it too. In fact, I hate most everything the first time I hear it.

yeah, the show was good times.

hitting a deer, totaling a car, and having to push it down the highway when it stops working at 4 AM, however, was not good times.

oh man, we didn't realize that the car's brakes didn't work, and it was like pitch black and we were on the highway, and there was an exit ramp, so we were going to push it to the exit ramp to get off the highway, and we were pushing it and it started going really fast and wouldn't stop for awhile, that was pretty bad.

then when the cops came, they freaked out on us and we're like, the meanest people on earth because one of the guys had really long hair and his eyes were bloodshot (did i mention it was 4 AM?) but their parents came and then the cops were all nice and stuff. stupid stereotypes.

I went to the Michelle Branch show tonight. It was great of course.Openers were Dakona and The Pat Mcgee Band. I was actually impressed with Dakona. They were pretty good and i got to talk to them afterward. The pat mcgee band was kind of boring though. Couldn't get into it.
