Maybe the video will be cool, and will make your life easier.

Nobody at my school has ever heard of OLP. Well, now they have, because I listen to them, but they've never heard OLP... I doubt many of them watched Live 8. There aren't a lot of music people at my school.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.
Waiting for something else,

Thats right. The vest. It distracted everyone around him, like the other people on stage to the point where they forgot how to play their instruments. Tragic.

(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

Vertigo wrote:forgot to add that The Philly show will have the Decalration of Indepence there. This is 1 of 25 copies that exist.. It was obtained cause Bob Shriver( one of the organizers) got his sister( Maria) and Gov Arnold to get it on loan for them.. It is on display at one of Maria's musuems in Cali..That would nic eto see since it is over 200 years old..

Wait, that was real?   They showed it for like 2 seconds and just like pointed back to it on stage... I assumed it was just a fake copy for emphasis on... something.

Anyway, my thoughts on OLP's performance:

The Leonard Cohen cover was beautiful. Probably brought down the level of energy in the crowd if you were there, but to watch it from the comfort of home, I really enjoyed it.

"Where Are You" sounded flat, but I think the main problem was technical, not the band. The levels were crazy off.

"Innocent" was perfect for the day. I thought it sounded fine, and I've always enjoyed it live... that's right, I said it! And I don't care what the rest of you think!! NEENER NEENER!!! :P

why wouldn't you want them to play it for live 8? it was very fitting for the cause i thought. and big deal, he said vote... people still listened and signed the petition.

To be honest, despite not being a big fan of the song either, I wouldn't totally judge it by that performance.

[color=#5b00ff]Yes Itwa real and no a ake. The hd Chhris Tuckertake it out from Cali, and it ha to be rerturned for SUnday mornng cause itis on Dispalya t he museum.

I too think Innocent fit the da. I i sad in ap revioius post the song to me always tanslated as finding strength and hope when things are bleak.. How you go on.. As for it live, I nver thought they did a good performac of it live cause Raine can't really sing it live. Same with Somewhere Out THere. It always souned to me like he was straining his voice.. Doesn't mean I think they are bad songs. Just not his best live..

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again
