Actually, last time it was 19+ and they let in everyone. You just had to be over 19 to go to the beer tent.
There are lots of tickets around so why don't you just go and see if they will let you in. Can't hurt right?
Besides, its an outdoors concert. If you go and can't get in, its not like you won't be able to hang around and listen.

Wow, David Usher @ Kelowna. A combination of good luck, bad luck, but mostly good. The story would take hours to tell, it's definitely one for the memories.

Actually, this one was fully 19+. They checked ID's at the entrance, and I saw them turn away a nice few people.

The version they did of Naveed was pretty sweet. I very much enjoyed it.

Hahaha, and for the second time K-os didn't show up.
Last time, over the summer he has a good excuse because there was a storm in Halifax. I think he just whimped out this time. Now all concert goers hate him.

haha, that's funny.
Well, except for the k-os fans. It's not too funny for them at all.

Or in Vancouver. We didn't get Rockin' in the Free World either :(

:O And Lucky Lando got State of Love and Trust and Rearviewmirror too.

They'd better come back to Europe REALLY soon!

They played SOLAT in T-Bay, and for some reason Ed couldn't get back to the mic in time for the first verse, so the crowd just picked it right up and he gave us the OK! sign.

I wish they would've played Rearviewmirror, but we got Corduroy and Jeremy and Porch and Nothingman  so it's all good.

Hell, PJ could play a show of songs like Bugs and Hey Foxymophandlemama, that's me, and it would still kick ass.

Rushing to a venue hasn't been this exciting in so long, I nearly forgot what it was like. Coldplay. A long awaited show for me. My luck never seemed to pan out when it came to catching one of their sets. Finally, 6 months ago, I got in on a Coldplay "In My Place" pre sale for fan community members and snagged myself two tickets. Hey! It only cost $180 dollars, but last night proved to be worth my money and then some!

They start off with Square One. What a brilliant song to kick off a fantastic evening! The LED screen starts counting down. Chris Martin's sillohette in the background. When it reaches 0.0 Being able to admire Chris Martin this close made me take a step back and contemplate the events that were about to unfold in front of me. This is really it. This is the time that I get my chance to see Chris Martin in all his brilliance, live, singing and performing his heart out right in front of me.

This is it.

They tear through all the famous songs like YELLOW with big yellow ballons popping with confetti over the crowd! Continuing playing, they start flashing on the LED screen "GET YOUR CAMERA READY!" over and over again. Finally the countdown starts and it reaches 1, the house lights blaze on with everyone flashing their camera's in unison!!! Unfreaking believeable. This is one of the best live bands ever!! And that takes a lot for me to say that being that I've seen probably 200 bands!

They all pile onto the smaller stage for a tribute to Johnny Cash. He's a Chris Martin/COLDPLAY hero. They had orginally intended to do a duet with Cash, but his sudden death dashed that dream. "Till Kingdom Come" starts off, the crowd goes wild. I'm smiling, giddy as a school girl witnessing all this brilliance in one man. In one night. "Ring of Fire" is next. The crowd singing along.

Ending the encore set with FIX YOU just left everyone with chills. Sorta bringing everyone into eurphoria in unison. Didn't even matter that we were stuck in the parking lot for an hour after the show. We'd just witnessed something magical and it was enough to keep us buzzing all the way home.

Metric is playing alot of tiny venues here in NYC. I might go check them out.

Jeni I can relate to you. Coldplay were awesome when I saw them. I got last minute released on top of stage. What was even better is they considered them obstructive view so they were cheap The were awesome seats Front row on side of stage. it does not get much better then that. Even front row floors weren't as good as our seats. Did Chris go into the audience during 'In My Place"H edid ht atin NYC and it was amazing.

Lando I thought of you when I saw those Pearl Jam sons. I told everyone I know my friend was at that show. Speaking of PJ. Jeremy gave me his PJ pass form the Montreal show.. I don't know why. he just handed it to me.. isaid okay thanks. I have friends who love PJ who might want that... I wll try to scan it in for you guys. Thanks that the U2 show I was going to go to they showed up at. I am not much of a pJ fan anymore but htat would of been fun..

I saw OLP last night and in Philly nigh tbefore. the philly show was amzing. Bes tversion of SMile I ever heard..

they also did U2 yesterday.

My next show is OLP again. I am alo going to Interpol's closign Antics tour in NYC. Can't wait. Should be fun. is last show of the tour, and in their hometown.. Also seeing U2 in 2 weeks. Cna;t wait. the setlist have been looking really good as stuf fis being put back in..
