Laughing gas doesn't do a thing for me. They used it on me when I had some of my baby teeth pulled that wouldn't fall out on their own years ago, and I could feel EVERYTHING. Oh god that hurt.

sorrry to hear that. throughout the whole time, they had frozen my jaw or face or something to that effect, i was trying not to laugh, even though you could hear and smell the blood spattering everywhere. ironic

i am going to be a good girl and drink my milk and eat my veggies and floss every day and hopefully i will turn out to be part of a gene pool free of wisdom teeth and i won't have to suffer this tooth pulling experience of which you all speak.

It doesn't matter how good your teeth are, it's all about if they come in, how they come in, if they have room to come in, and if you bite the back of your cheeks when they do.

stop with the horror stories of wisdom teeth!
this past winter, i had all four of mine ripped out at once. they knocked me out, and i woke up slightly disoriented with gauze shoved in my mouth, which was honestly the worst part of the entire experience. getting your wisdom teeth out isn't always horrible. if you're lucky, and have small roots on your teeth (like me!) the pain factor is pretty much nonexistant. i had no pain at all at any time, and pretty much no bleeding. the only thing that sucked was not being able to eat hard foods.
anyway. just had to throw in here that sometimes, getting those teeth out isn't all that bad.

I watched The Diary of Anne Frank last night and balled straight through the last half hour. Now I have a headache.
