I've had this problem with roommates before too. Usually it never works with who signs what first. Mostly because I would have no idea about that. It's just first come first serve, if you ask me. All of my friends try to get to the apts as early as possible so they can pick their room, and at least put their stuff in it. I think that if you go up and chose then you should get it. And I wouldn't back down, but it's hard when you are already friends with them. I am living with a friend in the fall, but at least all of the rooms are identical.

Oh how I hate catching up on the CM after being absent a week.
