some of my favourite commercials ever were during olympics...
though this year they have been bad from what i've seen

I haven't even watched much of the olympics. Maybe like 5 minutes of Hockey. What annoyed me for a while was the overpopularity of Sponge Bob Square Pants. I just wanted to ring out that little fucker

haha, sponge bob pissed the hell out of me for a while until i actually sat down and watched a few episodes. now i love that guy.

Another thing that annoys me is when people think a certain favorite band of mine sucks when they've only heard one or two singles, which usually tend to be their worst songs.

ive got a list today. sorry guys.

6am- sports trainer mistakes me for some girl named sierra. again. like he does everyday, even though i'm a junior and i've been working with him for 3 years. yeah.

6:30am- the sports trainer at school calls me 'katie watson' (instead of watkins) for the 18th time

8am- finding out i wasted a TON of time studying for a test that i thought would be really hard, only to find out i knew everything on it before studying because it was all common sense questions. that were obvious answers

11am- realizing that i suck at art and i'm wasting my life even attempting it

11:01am- my low self confidence and my art teacher s voice in my head saying "enough of that moose!"

lunch- still working at my drawing, still not going very far with it


starting to realize that one of the people i used to talk to a lot i cant seem to anymore. and i miss it. its strange, and i dont know how it happened but we just dont have the same kinds of conversations we used to


but by far the most annoying/upsetting part of today was hearing "white houses" by vanessa carlton and realizing i'll never feel like that

For me, it's most of the time with The Offspring, when they've only heard Pretty Fly (For a White Guy), Hit That, and/or Original Prankster, and they think they suck. Then I play Self Esteem, and they're like "This is The Offspring? I love this song!"

Now it's all these people bashing Avenged Sevenfold when All they've heard is Bat Country, which is one of their weakest songs.

I bashed Avenged Sevenfold prior to hearing any of their music. Appropriately enough for this thread, their image annoys me. Oddly enough, after actually sitting down to listen to Bat Country, I have learned to appreciate that there is something in the music. The guitar player can shred. The singer reminds me a little too much of Mike Patton on the vocals in that song, though... I would be willing to give their music a chance, but I won't go buy the album until I hear it first.

I have all their albums, so if you want any songs, just PM me or something.

Unfortunately, my only decent internet access is at work, and I can't access my good emails...only work...so I'm not sure how you would send any songs to me.

Just don't bother going to Art school because all you'll end up doing is a lot of drugs.
