After Edgefest, I'll have seen Billy Idol and Joan Jett in the same month.
... and it's not 1984.

You would of loved the last day of Music Midtown in Atlanta. It was old school..
Public Enemy, Tone Loc. Doug E freash and I can't remember what other in hip hop/rap there were..
For Rock there was Def Lep. Joan Jett, and Devo..
I left so I missed it. I would of loved to seen Joan and Devo.. Although Devo are here next month.
I said to my friends that within the last year I saw acts that would make you wonder is it 84-85 or 2004-2005.
I have seen The Cure, New Order, Duran Duran, Tears For Fears, and now Billy Idol..

my favourites were Riot Girl and Festival Song
the one thing that bothered me the most.. THEY DIDNT PLAY LITTLE THINGS!!

that was at Live 8 right.
I forgot to add Judas Priest in there and U2( although U2 have been going strong all along) and in Dec it will be Depeche Mode.. Who are touring Europe before hitting the USA in December.
I know they are playing NYC's MSG on Dec 7th and DEC 8th.. Yeah DM is coming back....
oh and let's not forget Erasure just toured, The Pixies are touring. Paul Weller( from the jam and style council) is touring.. Bauhaus played COchella and will be in LA..
It is weird. It seems all these bands are coming back. Some you are like Yes about time and others you are like. WHY oh WHY..
oh wait let's not forget A-HA...
did anyone see Hit Me Baby One More Time-now that was sad..

LOL..I am not seeing them a baziilion times. I am not going up for Toronto now.. The LA trip(for OLP/Gavin Rossdale) was unexpected so I can't do TO for U2.. But on a high note since I will be still be out in West, I might go up for first Vegas show. They release tickets the day of show at venue .. This is the band's doing, not the venue's doing.. As of now I only have tickets for NYC-opening night in Oct and Opening night in LA-NOV..
actually I only saw one more u2 show then you last May
I am expecting a full report on the FOOS..
as for concerts I just saw Greenwheel last night in NYC. The venue was extemely small. There were only maybe 30 people there. They are basically starting over again..
