I'm #6 and sitting at home. I won tickets too, but no, my parents made me stay home....
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

I didn't get to go to the meetup. And, the after meetup is probably happening right now, but i was too depressed to go so i just went home. However, I did see all your writing on the sidewalk. And if i knew where the spagetti facotry was, i would have went. Sorry guys, i really wanted to meet you all, but i was so depressed today that i probably would have brought you all down with me.

I tried to be nice to my friends and give them my extra tickets to the show tonight. Well, they took the tickets and went to the show without me. They pretty much ditched me and just used me for my tickets.
As for the show, it was pretty good, but the set was soooo predictable. Pretty much the same set list from shows they did this summer.

So many people @ ACC! It was a day of bumping in to new friends and old friends and everyone was in great spirits. Thanks to all, but special shout outs to...
Jo-Ann/Kathy -- thanks for making your hotel room available for us. That's so awesome that we had a place to drink before the show. I headed in to the ACC kinda tipsy, which was fun. You are too kind letting so many strangers in to a room you're paying for. Thanks to all who partied with us there before and after.
Kruno/Miro/Sand -- thanks for the entertainment, again!
Rich, Shelley and everyone else at Second Cup
Lori -- thanks for keeping me company when we first went inside! Too bad you couldn't make it afterwards.
Sorry to the people I didn't have much time to talk to. Alex & Susan: totally lost track of time... sorry I missed meeting up with guys earlier. Arlie: thanks for saying hi, I wouldn't have recognized you... again, sorry I didn't have time to talk more.
Great show, great people.
Unfortunately, it has turned into a bittersweet evening. At 330am, when I finally got home, something felt different. But I didn't know what. Then I see a note from my parents explaining that our family dog of 15 years was put to sleep while my brother and I were out this evening.
Yikes. My dog has been in poor health for a while and we've discussed putting him down for almost two months now. But it's still a shock. I'm glad I didn't know this ahead of time... that would have really ruined an otherwise exhilarating show. But at the same time... if I only knew, I would have given him a little more attention before walking out my door this morning.
What's really weird is this -- I'm not sure if anyone was listening to our conversation, but I started talking about his poor health with Jena at the Second Cup. We were having a whole conversation about putting down pets.
Well, what can you do? Here I sit, and life goes on.
I'm going to try and get some sleep now. Peace.

I met Miro, Kruno, Sandeed, Odin, (but we lost sight of him when we got back to the venue.
), Beth, Kyle, Allison, Stacey, Brent, Aaron, and other folks whose names I didn't get or may be forgetting at the moment. I don't what Rich and Shel look like, but I knew they'd have been there.
Too bad Alex and I had to leave to catch out train. It was a ton of fun.
