I'm gonna say sm.net, and "very long time ago" wasn't actually very long at all.

Yay Soozy!! And booo Ticketmaster. :(

I could've seen Beck earlier tonight in NYC at a place with a 250 capacity if Ticketweb hadn't screwed me over when it was trying to verify my mom's credit card. :crying: That would've been incredible. :(

That was my guess when I first read it.

My first thought was old school CC, but then I realised that Jen would have been very very young then so then I got all confused!
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

where was Beck at? I did hear he was going to be doing soemthing.he is doing SNL tonight..

I saw Duran Duran at Madison Square Garden on Wenesday. That was alot of fun. I ran into so many people I use to see Duran with in the 80's. As one of my friends said people come out of the woodwork for them. LOL. It really was alot of fun. they pulled out some songs I haven't heard done live or seen in along time. I sort of got out of Duran in the 90's( i did see a few shows) but after John Left I didn't really see them anymore. To see all 5 again it was so much fun. Still I say Webster Hall in 2003 was the best. Seeing Duran Duran is like a high school reunion of sorts
gee with all these artist touring now makes you wonder what year it is..

I just saw Duran Duran going to New Order in afew weeks then U2. is it 2005 or 1985

Beck played a secret show at the Hiro Ballroom at the Maritime Hotel. I looked it up, the place is BEAUTIFUL. Here, everyone, look where I could've seen Beck last night:

I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

oh Sloan was awesome.
First off they played this tiny club here in Peterborough where the stage was literally 10 feet by 6 feet wide, and there was no fence or railing between the crowd and the stage except they were on a 1 foot high platform. We were front row so basically we could play their instruments if we wanted to.

I grabbed a setlist and they had 20 songs on there but played about 24 songs total because they took some requests. Only played like 8 singles and the rest were old tunes from their first couple albums, as well as two new songs that will be on the greatest hits cd.

They rocked as usual. This was my 3rd time seeing them in the last year, and it was probably their weakest performance of the 3 but only because they didn't have much room to move around (cause chris likes to do his drop kicks, but he could only do like 2 and he had to be careful lol) ummm what else... oh ya, in order for them to get to the stage they had to go through the crowd so they couldn't go "back stage" to wait for the encore so basically Chris just chatted with the audience and stuff for like 5 minutes. It was pretty cool.

So ya all in all it was a good rockin show, but that's what you'd come to expect out of them.
