I say they should keep it up.
I have Brady on my fantasy football team.

I should had kept NE's Defense on my roster too but I thought the Giants D would eat up on Dolphin meat

Chad Johnson isn't performing for me either. Stupid Palmer keeps passing to Douchemanzatta. >:-[

i always liked lebron james.. hes a great player and an actual good guy but holy hell do like him a hell of a lot more after reading this:

James doesn't want Marbury with Cavs

Friday, Nov 16, 2007 6:38 am EST
LeBron James

There have been rumors that the Cleveland Cavaliers might be interested in trading for Stephon Marbury.

That speculation is over, and it was cleared up not by General Manager Danny Ferry, but by LeBron James.

''I couldn't have a guy like that on my team,'' James said flatly Wednesday.

and i follow that bit of awesomeness with this bit of even more awesomeness:

Lyric Altered Song Dedication of the Week

Please don't take this too literally, but how can I resist this rendition from the Miami Dolphins' new starting quarterback of a classic penned by his ultra-talented namesake, to the tune of Beck's "Loser"?

"In the time of Brady Quinn I was a rookie
butane in my veins so Cam and Randy took me
after pickin' Ted Ginn and
ticking off the masses
now I'm hittin' nine of 22 passes
first and goal and put it in neutral
13-yard loss and Feeley's on cruise control
Lemon's on the sidelines with the headset and the clipboard
Trent's in the meeting room all scrambled eggs
Wayne keeps sayin' I'm insane to complain about
Gettin' thrown into the worst year ever
don't believe the defense is a sieve
How you gonna tell my man Ricky-Dub how to live?
so save some face and send me on a mission
savin' your bad team like those people out in Portugal
(yo cut it)
Soy un perdedor I'm a loser baby so why don't you kill me?
(shotgun check-down)
Soy un perdedor i'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me?
(I'm a driver I'm a winner things are gonna change I can feel it)
Soy un perdedor I'm a loser baby so why don't you kill me?
(Wayne can't believe you)
Soy un perdedor I'm a loser baby so why don't you kill me?

if the reports are indeed true then brett favre has decided to hang up his cleats and retire from the nfl. so, if thats true, today is a sad day for the league, even if it was inevitable, favre will always be one of my favourite qb's ever to play, a guy who's up there with the likes of joe montana and steve young, a lock for the hall of fame and a genuinely good guy.

bye bye brett!

Brett Farve once threw a football at Chuck Norris

... Chuck ducked

Was it here I said I would rather be smashed over the head with a beer bottle in a bar fight with Brett Farve than Tom Brady?

Sometime pre-superbowl the topic popped up about Farve vs. Brady.

I liked Brady and the Pats b/c of thier who gives a flying crap if we run up the score attitude.

But I disliked Brady because of his GQ'ness with his stylish hat and suit and what not compared to Brett Farves T-Shirt and Jeans style.

This is where I mentioned that Brett Farve would be far more likely to kick Bradys ass in a bar fight and smash a beer bottle over his head.

... or something to that effect

errr yeah.. just cause favRE dresses different and acts different doesnt mean you'd be any less fucked up if either of em smashed a bottle over year head.. hell they could both use their non-throwing arm and knock you from here to uhhh your next life.
yeah favRE has an arm but so does brady and i absolutely hate brady but dudes got a gun.. i mean.. sure brett's got a cannon but last i heard a glock or a magnum can still do a fair bit of damage when needed

Kinda sad that favre is retiring, but we saw it coming. I would throw a toss up between him or Montana as being the most genuine and pure QB in history. Montana's numbers don't completely compare to others, but that guy had skillage we all can only dream of.

On a side note I am glad the Vikes signed Berrian away from those shitty Bears. Now somebody who can actually catch the ball will be playing in Minnesota. If only T-Jax can get the ball TO him.

Good point my friend. Vikes don't need to let T-Jax have control anyways. I'm excited for football season and its months away.

Is anybody gonna go baseball fantasy in here? I wanna join a league, but a league that won't need a heavy amount of management. haha!

This was the best thread to go with. Did anybody else totally fucking enjoy the super bowl this year? The 4th quarter was great... And to see James Harrison take that 100-yd interception back for the "touch" was nasty!

First super bowl I've enjoyed watching in quite a few years! And I didn't even consume any alcohol. Which was odd...
