Oh, and on topic... washing out trashcans makes sense.... but take the easy route... just leave them open outside during a big rain storm. We've never actually washed ours, but they smell fine cos it occasionally rains before we pull them in after trash collection.

Never got into it... and hearing about something that you don't care for a LOT, especially when you have absolutely no idea what the people are talking about... well, it tends to make your not-caring-for that thing to turn to hatred.

I haven't had to wash out my families garbage cans for over a year because it has been raining a lot.
