oh man.
I love my people.
I really do.

I was at the mall tonight because my friends had to buy someone a birthday present as their party is tomorrow.

There were people in the mall protesting. But they were amazingly cool and creative people. The whole time they were dressed as zombies! It was amazing. If I was in a car I would have honked my horn!!!
But it definately got the point across. I don't know if many people made the whole zombie connection but if not it still got people attention.
(woah...that rhymed)

so yeah. I was all "rock on"
and they were all "lucious human brains...."

yeah this will be the least successful Buy Nothing day ever seeing as how its the day after thanksgiving -one of the biggest shopping days of the year, and it's a friday, and everything stays open till midnight :uh:
blah.

Yes people, let's protest people buying things, on sale, on the biggest shopping day of the year, but do absolutely nothing about the atrocities that are going on with Bush on a daily basis. Yeah, that makes sesne. Buying something is bad, but letting some asshole send people to an early death is good. Fuck the world.

Alan, somehow I think the same people that protest this also protest Bush, but you know... :freak:

I love how people just shrug this off as being useless without even researching the ideology behind it :uh:

That's the idea. It IS the biggest shopping day of the year, and that's why they chose to have it on this day.

I have chosen to try this for myself on Boxing Day, because Nov 28th means nothing to me.
