As for biggest mainstream single, I'd agree that SOT was it... you never really saw Superman's Dead on MTV.

However, anyone who listened to rock in the late 90's knows Superman's Dead, and some stations are still playing it (you don't hear SOT anymore)... so I'd have to go with Superman's Dead.

Here in Canada, SD was the huge hit. I'm not too sure about the US.

By the way, welcome to the board. :)

In my opinion I would have to say that Clumsy was their biggest single.... The only reason I say this is because that is the first song I had ever heard from OLP and that is what got me hooked... In all reality I would have to agree with those who said SOT too though. SOT was played on a lot of radio staions around here, radio stations that had never played one OLP song until that came out. That was the single that made it onto stations that played music such as N-SYNC, Britney Spears, Ja Rule..... Need I say more
What I felt before was wrong, I told myself all along, these familiar feelings take away the pain. And with this reason to rebel, I told you how I felt, you turned and sighed and said you couldn't feel a thing for me. And I lost another wish in all of this.

Actually this question probably depends on where you live.

In Canada in terms of popularity SD has to be the choice. That song was named the #1 rock song of 97 by almost every rock station in the country. It was #1 on Muchmusic for 4 weeks! The only other song to do that was some Britney Spears song.

Everywhere else it would probably be SOT, or maybe SD. But i'd put my money on Somewhere Out There

I would definatly agree with this. So many people are saying SD, but I don't remember ever having heard that on the radio :wtf: Clumsy was played a lot (that's when I firstgot into OLP) and SOT was played tons...so much that I almost got sick of it...not quite though, I mean it's OLP

(to quote Al) OLP STILL ROCKS!

Oh, and no, walls wouldn't get drunk and walk into people...they have no mouth with which to injest the alcohol...

Somewhere Out There in the US.

Most people have only heard this song and nothing more from OLP.

I think we can all agree with this generalization...

in the US it is SOT
in Canada it is Superman's Dead.

Both versions of the US SD video are available on the hub. I ripped the no clowns one, Lando ripped the other.
