That reminds me, on Lupe's most recent mixtape he freestyled over Radiohead's The National Anthem. It's good.

It's already been released.

I am liking some of his stuff though. I really like Past My Shades, Airplanes, and The Kids.

sorry i really don't follow rap album releases as closely but yeah he's pretty impressive. Kanye apparently is working on his next album, "Good Ass Job" and it'll be probably released in June. Hopefully he'll actually rap on this album unlike 808s.

From what I've read from people involved, it's supposed to be an old school hip-hop album. I'm doubting that June release rumor though, since he has yet to release a single.

Also waiting on Drake's Thank Me Later. Over, Unforgettable, and Fireworks are raw (plus The Resistance sounds really good based on the live verse I saw on YouTube). Miss Me is good, but the beat isn't fully there...

I wish Atlantic Records would give Lupe a release date for Lasers.

Drake's Thank Me Later has leaked. It's got some really good songs on it, but I don't think it's overall as strong as his So Far Gone mixtape. I enjoy it though... Plus the Kanye-produced song that didn't make the album "You Know, You Know" is sooo raw.

For those who are liking Recovery, there are two iTunes bonus tracks (which can be downloaded on sites like HotNewHipHop.com). The songs are Ridaz and Session One (feat. Slaughterhouse). Good songs.

Thanks for this. I knew he recorded a lot of tracks but I didn't realize he released bonus tracks.

Recovery hasn't left my car player in weeks. Currently my favorite album. Space Bound is my favorite song from it.
