I know I saw it a lot of times, and it was always amazing.......mmmm.....jazz drums.

And I want it back.

Anna we rule cause we saw Montreal with Stealing Babies..

I can't really think this cause my ulimate OLP setlist would not be just 2 songs off each cd At least 3 if I had to choose that. I will say this any show I can see( up till new cd)

Naveed, Hope, Superman's Dead, Mafia and Blister in is a great show. Those are my favorite OLP songs..

crosses fingers that HOPE does make it back into the set. Prays that maybe just maybe Blister willl appear.. Hey one can dream//

Naveed, Hope, Denied
Let You Down, Carnival, Superman's Dead
Thief, Stealing Babies, Annie
Maifa, Middle of Yesterday, In Repair
Bring Back The SUn, Not Enough, Sell My SOul

for encores.. I will choose one song off each cd
off Naveed- SUpersatelite
Off CLumsy-Hello Oskar
Off Happiness-Waited
Off SM- Made To Heal
Off Gravity-NONE.. okay Story about a girl

rare songs: John Lennon's Imagine, Jeff Buckley's Eternal life and Massive Attacks Teardrop and if you really wanted rare. OUT OF HERE>. I wonder if they ever did thta live.

but you know what woudl really be cool. If OLP did what a few other bands have b een doing. Say play 3 nights in a select cities.
Night 1- songs off Naveed and Cllumsy
Night 2 Songs off Happines/ Spirutal machines
night 3 sogns off Gravity and HIPT.

now that I would like to see.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

Any really spectacular shows specifically, im dying to here some drums.

If anyone has Club Soda from Montreal......that was probably the best concert EVER. Seriously. Also, the SM tour of the Northeast (which is only what I can vouch for....but the east coast was better than midwest) was all pretty amazing. I walked out of most of the SM era shows feeling that they were all second best (to club soda, of course) in the world.

But......Club Soda. It was sooooooo long. I *almost* wanted it to end because I thought that I was going to die in the crowd for 3 hours. However, I never wanted it to end because it was the most amazing thing ever.

OMG Anna When they did HOPE   .. What was funny if you remember Raine was going on about Jeff Buckley.. he looked at Mike and turned to the crowd and said " This is Hope".. then they did Eternal Life.

even more amzing is Duncan played that show sick  :(

also have you noticed he wears his ring while playing now..

My list is horribly pedestrian, as since I've never seen them live I obviously chose all of my favorites to put on here...and since we could only do 2 each I couldn't really put any of the obscure ones. After I see them at the end of the month I'll try to come up with the new list.

Angels/Losing/Sleep
Superman's Dead
Naveed
One Man Army
Bring Back the Sun
Apology
Right Behind You
Potato Girl
Story About a Girl
Thief
Al Genina
Starseed

I think it's cooler with the guitar intro before the bass riff that was on the album and also extended when played live.

I still can't believe he played that whole show sick, he must have just felt terrible. I remember Mike looked like he was going to die. He said something like, "we promised that we would play until we drop......and we will".

Also, Duncan's ring is huge. Its good that he wears it though, keep those groupies away. heh.

Speaking of that.......at the second Viper room night this woman was yelling something, so Raine stopped and was like "whats the problem?"
woman- "YOU're HOT!!!!"
Raine- "what? its too hot in here?"
woman- "NO! YOU are HOT!!"
Raine- "ummm.....oh......I'm not really sure how comfortable that makes me feel"

I guess even wearing the wedding ring can't always stop them.

this was so off topic....sorry.

ON TOPIC- I think its evident that OLP should bring TWF into their set. I mean, i'm obviously not the minority anymore........

That is pretty damn funny with Raine. ..OMG. imagine if he broke into Nelly's hot in here.  ..I still can't believe that girls scream that at OLP shows to Raine.. Did you recognize the woman. Was it one of the girls form the first night.. the two girls standing next to me. They seemd to be really into Raine and I think slightly pissed off I was infront of him..

OMG Anna, I have learned that it is not good to stand infront of Raine when he sings * Will The Future Blame Us* I almost got hit in NYC with teh mic stand again.. the only thing is Raine sort of caught it in NYC, where in LA I did. I swear he is trying to hurt me..

At teh first NYC show this girl squuezed up in front. She was wrting notes the whole night. Raine asked her and she ssaid she wrote for the beast out of Buffalo.. I had to alught cause I could see what she was writing and few times she wrote HOW HOT RAINE was.. Damn that boy needs to get some fans if he is so hot.. LOL..

now Northern Lights 2002 - Raine was really hot... ( you had to be there to get the joke)

Image

also for y ou. JAMIE!!!!! I forgot who posed this, bu tI always loved it..
Image

you know this is what Shawn looks liek now. That is why I thought it was jamie who came up to me in LA.. it wasn't until raine said hey Shawn MF, that I realized it was Shawn.. he cut his hair that much..
