i'm seeing electric six wednesday night. i'm excited, it's my first 18+ show.
that they did and they thought they were so fucking cool since the crowd got all excited. They tried to pick up my friends at an after party and they were like "umm no".

I saw Stroke 9!

It was when "Little Black Backpack" was still huge... they were the opening act for the FEASTival... twas their first (and probably one of their last) show in a huge arena.

OOOOOH man, i just got back from electric six and that was seriously the funnest show i've ever been to. in my life. seriously.
peelander Z came on first and oh boy let me tell ya. they are a "japanese noodle punk band" and they are nothing short of amazing. they ended their set by splitting apart the crowd moses-style and after all of the band members ran around the little aisle (with members of the audience playing their instruments) they used the lead singer as a bowling ball and set up pins at the end of the aisle. oh man, love 'em.
los fancy free was next and well, that guy was kind of a douche. he was weird, but not in a good way. plus, i didn't really like the music, it was alright but nothing special. it was pretty funny though because he came into the crowd and pulled my friend up on stage to dance, she left after the song and he was like fucking holding on to her because he didn't want her to get off the stage. fuh-reak.
electric six was last and they are always a good time. they played everything that should have been played (including gay bar) and the lead singer is so adorable with his dance moves and evertything.
add some queen, george michael, and mellow yellow in between sets and you've got yourself a party.
oh and if anyone has made it this far, does anyone here like tegan and sara? i'm thinking about seeing them but i've never listened to them. suggestions?

and one of them is really hot
so one friend turned me down so far for the bright eyes concert spewing her usual excuses .. if somebody actually wanted to go to a concert with me i'd probably pee my pants i'd be so surprised
