Negative. I tired of Audioslave after the first album came out, and what I've heard of the second seems more of the same. To me, Audioslave is a band where the the final product is less than the sum of its parts. They could surprise me someday though, and I hope that they will on the third album.

Early, too. I highly suggest pre-ordering cds from Sony's online store... stuff ships like 3 or 4 days before it actually comes out.

It's ok. I don't think they made any progression forward from their last studio album. I think it's going to be an album that I put in on my day off to listen to when I want to relax. I've only listened to it twice, but I'm sure it will grow on me.

I've only heard the live versions of the songs (well, parts of most of them), and I agree. I was saying to Melissa how they don't sound like they've progressed at all through their albums.
