I saw Hanson last night. It was fucking awesome. I've liked them since I was 11. It was the most diverse crowd of any show I've ever been to. I like how they keep growing musically and doing their own thing. They've got their own record label now, and I love the acoustic stuff. Oh, and I met Taylor and got his autograph. Nice.
Shows I am going to attend soon:
Hot Hot Heat
Dashboard Confessional (lame, because I've already seen him 5 times)
Built to Spill
Death Cab For Cutie
Five Iron Frenzy
Modest Mouse
Thursday, Thrice, Coheed and Cambria
There are more I would like to see, but those are the ones I'm going to for sure.

My sister kindly bought me a ticket, and so that would be rude. Besides, it will be interesting to see the other bands.

I'm going to see Pete Yorn tomorrow
Then nothing for the whole of October and then it goes a bit crazy
2/11 - The Flaming Lips
5/11 - Finger Eleven (unless they play a show in London the next day in which case I'll go to that instead)
9/11 - Evanescence and Finger Eleven
22/11 - All American Rejects
24/11 - The Thrills
25/11 - Bob Dylan
27/11 - Radiohead
2/12 - Blur
5/12 - The Darkness
10/12 - Feeder
16/12 - Good Charlotte (I'm not sure why as I vowed never to see them again after being deafened by screaming girls last time I saw them)
and hopefully Metallica on the 20th of December - tickets go on sale on Wednesday and there's only one UK date so I'll need some luck *crosses fingers*

wow, impressive list, I'm going to the Thrills on the 24th, Muse on November 7th, Feeder on November 21st and Danko Jones in December. Maybe also too Evanescence and Finger Eleven, because I'm curious to see F11 live, the show is sold out tough, but I could try and get some tickets through media contacts.

ohh yeah, I forgot about them. I never liked any of those little pop group things though, except Hanson. They write all their own songs and play their own instruments, which is refreshing from a "pop" band.
Oh, and I saw Radiohead live recently, also, on August 28th. They're just amazing.

Yeah, and Radiohead are bastards for refusing to come to Detroit.

Thursday is gonna rock my socks! I even made sure to take my last class off so I could get home in time to enjoy some Interpol!
And I am not sure why Radiohead skips Detroit. I heard they don't come here because they don't want to play where the Big 3 automotive companies are, because of some stupid belief they hold. So instead of playing one of the four largest music markets in America (Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville being the others, maybe Chicago is in there too) they choose to screw their fans over. That is why Radiohead sucks.
