Sweet! :duncan:

Well... about her joining... not about you scaring her off.

Also... not a single person has commented on my pictures that I posted. :crying: Not even my awesome soundcheck one or the one of Raine's silhouette in lights.

Whoa - somehow I totally missed your pictures when I went through that page of the thread. The silhouette one is HOT.

Thankee.

I saw it when I was looking through my pictures and was very impressed with myself. And yes, I intentionally took it. ;)

I reeeeeeeeally like the one from soundcheck, too. It's not often that I'm able to get a shot of the whole band on stage.

I need advice from you frequent OLP-concertgoers and I figured this was the best thread in which to put it.

My afternoon class for Wednesday got cancelled, meaning I can basically get to the club at any time (it's a 10 second walk from my dorm). What time does OLP usually get to a venue and do their soundcheck? Not only do I want to be able to be front row for the concert itself, but I'd love to somehow be able to get in for soundcheck. Any suggestions on how I might do that???

Thanks so much! 2 days!!!!

Get there at like... oh... 3ish? That should be before the band gets there... then don't be shy when they go in... introduce yourself and all that... if you're lucky, maybe they'll invite you in for soundcheck.

Don't really count on it, though... it's pretty rare.

There are WAY more than this (and they're good), but these are the four I resized and pasted links to on the hub last night, so they're the ones I'll post here for now. Anyone wants to see them all, feel free to grab them from me on the hub. I'm also sharing some video clips, including full length videos of the Pedestrian songs featuring members of OLP.

Anyway...

My favorite picture from soundcheck.

Me looking weird with the whole band... but, yay I got my full band shot!

My favorite picture from the concert. Seriously... how amazing did that picture turn out?!?

This is what happens when Steve knows you and sees that you're going to take a picture of him while he's leaving the stage.

Nikki, your pictures are totally awesome. I was still too far into my "Steve recognized me" bubble to digest them. That Steve one is great. He looks like he's using "the force" on you or something. The Raine one is good too, although I'm still torn on the whole hat thing, but I can't blame you for Raine's twisted fashion.

What kind of camera did you use to get pictures like that with no flash? Those are great pictures.

 The force! Should I worry?

It's a Kodak EasyShare DX6440... it's Monkey's. Only problem is it's rather big.

I remember when I first got my digi it was the tiniest thing available. That was like, 3 or 4 years ago. Now it's considered a blimp! It never was good for stashing away.

Heehee, aww.

I remember I used to think I was sly by hiding it in my cleavage so the "Pat-downs" wouldn't find it. I don't understand how I ever got away with that? The camera to cleavage (or lack there of) dimensions just don't work.
