The new Mars Volta isn't very good. But then again, neither was the first album. But now they've already taken the excessive and just gone excessive on it for the new album. I think they need to learn there can be such a thing as "too much." At the Drive-In was better.
Tomorrow:
Manic Street Preachers - The Holy Bible (10th Anniversary). I'm looking forward to all the extra goodies and hearing the remastered and U.S. mix. Weeee!

The Bled - Pass the Flask
Rise Against - Siren Song of the Counter Culture
The Blood Brothers - Crimes
Dommy watched me buy Crimes. She knows what a neurotic mess I am about spending money.
Then we were walking down Yonge, and she pointed to a store and said, "That's where I got my mario shirt, it's a store full of custom print tshirts."
Why would she tell me such a thing? I told her, "Dom, whatever you do, don't let me go into that store."
Then we were in the store, and I told her, "Dom, whatever you do, don't let me spend money here."
Then she pointed to a shirt that said "I Love Shirts" and said, "You should buy that!!"
So I screamed and ran away.

Okay, so I got it two days later instead. O noes! The shiny U.S. mix is a trip when compared to the scratchy, raw original mix.
Also:
Ash - Meltdown (U.S. version w/ Bonus Tracks and DVD)
John Davis - John Davis
Gratitude - Gratitude

Actually what's weird is that the cd that got me into metallica was....St. anger. *dodges the deadly objects being thrown at him* I got a burned copy from a friend. Liked it, then my other friend told me that St. Anger was pure crap and sent me all the metallica albums over msn. Since then I have collected the real copies of Master of puppets, Reload, and The Black Album in that order.

Oh, and today I bought:
The Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
Coldplay - A Rush of Blood to the Head
Both were on sale for $10 at Target!
