oy. i just had that happen to me.

i've just been blowwwwwwwn away by this live version of Song for the Dumped by Ben Folds Five. it's 13 minutes 15 seconds long and they do the CRAZIEST things...i swear they were the best live band ever :drool:

Ben conducts the crowd and blows whistles and kills the inside of his piano even raps at one point and does all this shouting and i don't know WHAT else...but it's amazing. apparently this recording was part of a performance that was released on DVD, and now i want it more than ever. gah. but it was only released in Japan. still, it's incredible. i had to post this to let off some of the excitement. i think i'm sweating and it's more than just the humidity. this is insane.

that's my rant. but really, hearing all of that absolutely <i>floored</i> me. i'm probably going to read over this post later, when i'm in a better state, and wonder what came over me. :oops:
